John Grenfell & Son Funeral Directors (formerly D. Davies Est 1880) are an independent family firm from four generations of undertakers. As one of the few independent, family Funeral Directors remaining John Grenfell & Son attend to families in Bedlington, Ashington, Blyth and Morpeth areas.

John Grenfell & Son are not associated with Peter Grenfell Funerals. Peter Grenfell Funeral Directors were established in 2004 and are owned and managed by the Edinburgh Company William Purves Ltd.
